Help your child thrive by recognizing early warning signs of mental health disorders that may occur in children and adolescents.  This training will provide you with an overview of children’s mental health disorders.

You will learn:
  • Strategies and interventions to reduce the impact of mental health disorders and improve the social and emotional development of your child.
  • Positive behavioral interventions to use at home to help build your child’s self esteem, prevent power struggles and reduce the effects of mental health problems.

You will be given a list of resources you can use for when your child does not respond to basic interventions at school and at home.  As a parent or caregiver, you are an important advocate in making sure that your child receives the appropriate support to succeed in school and in life.
