What is the requirement to volunteer as a college student? (background checks, faculty recommendations, etc.)

When we take volunteers, we do a background check and a signed agreement from the student (or individual).

Can you accommodate a student for 6-10 hours per month per semester?

Yes, we can accommodate the services of a college student. We always have projects and initiatives happening within our organization.

What is the lead time you require to place a volunteer? 30 days

Would you consider taking on interns? Yes

If yes to the above question, what is the process?

The intern would submit an inquiry of interest, connect with staff at our organization, an agreement is made and signed, orientation, the student is placed within the organization, complete the requirements for the student, and exit meeting with staff.

Do you have full or part-time positions once a student graduated?

If employment opportunities are present, they would most likely be part-time with the possibility to evolve into full-time positions. Any employment opportunities would be listed above or on the council or nonprofits website as listed above. Everyone is welcome to apply through the standard process for open posititons.
