MACMH Changes Membership Requirement
MACMH has long benefited from the generous support of its members and other financial
supporters. The MACMH Staff and Board of Directors deeply appreciate all those who have
financially contributed to the organization through membership. During 2004, however,
MACMH’s Board began to evaluate whether being a membership organization was the most
effective way to serve the parents and professionals who rely on our education and advocacy
services.
After reviewing the financial commitment needed to maintain membership services, the
Board determined that the costs were limiting our ability to provide our services to the
widest possible audience. The Board, therefore, changed MACMH’s status from a
membership organization to a non-membership organization, effective February 1, 2005. All
current memberships will, of course, be honored until they expire.
By eliminating membership requirements, we believe our resources will be put to better use.
MACMH does, however, welcome support from those who are committed to our mission of
enhancing the lives of children and families who are affected by mental health disorders. We
invite you to continue to support MACMH financially by becoming a sponsor of our
organization. Please consider becoming a MACMH sponsor at one of the following levels:
MACMH Sponsorship Levels
• Friend Level ($50 - $99)
You will receive a voucher* that entitles you to $10 off any MACMH product.
• Supporter Level ($100 - $249)
You will receive a voucher* that entitles you to $20 off any MACMH product.
• Partner Level ($250 – $499)
You will receive a voucher* that entitles you to a $30 discount on the MACMH
Conference Registration fee and $20 off any MACMH product.
• Advocate Level ($500 and above)
You will receive a voucher* that entitles you to a $50 discount on the MACMH
Conference Registration fee and $30 off any MACMH product.
*Vouchers will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
