Meet SuperMe’s friends – The Super Me Team!
SuperMe has joined forces with Brilliant Bystander, Sonic Stop-It, and Beacon to combat hurtful teasing and bullying in the classroom! Short stories, coloring pages, and classroom activities provide ways to get students thinking, drawing, and writing about non-violent ways to handle hurtful teasing and bullying.
The colorful bulletin board display featuring the Super Me Team is a visual daily reminder that we all have the power to end hurtful teasing and bullying. |

Separating Myth from Fact
It’s sometimes difficult to know the truth about mental health because there are so many myths about mental illness. This booklet separates the myths from the facts and is meant for children to share with their families.
Order 20 or more booklets and receive a poster and DVD that documents how one 4th-grade class better understood the myths about mental health disorders by creating their own mythical creature—the Hydra.

An Educator’s Guide to Children’s Mental Health
Previously titled A Teacher’s Guide to Children’s Mental Health, this book equips educators with the tools needed to reach all students. It includes sections on what you may see if a student has a mental health disorder, how mental health disorders and medications affect student performance, and how to understand and work with parents. It also includes fact sheets on 15 common childhood mental health disorders. The fact sheets describe the disorders, list the common symptoms and behaviors, and give appropriate classroom strategies and accommodations.

A Guide to Early Childhood Mental Health
This guide examines the common, everyday concerns that caregivers address (such as aggressive behavior, eating, and temper tantrums) and provides detailed information about how to respond to different behaviors. Although written primarily for early childhood care providers, parents and other caregivers may also find it useful–especially the “Common Concerns” sections and the fact sheets that describe the most common mental health disorders of early childhood.
