Preparations Begin
for MACMH’s 2008 Conference
For several years MACMH has been hosting a conference that features three keynote speakers, more than 70 breakout sessions, and an exhibit hall packed with vendors from across the state. And each year we receive wonderfully valuable feedback about what we did right and what we can improve.
As we reviewed the comments from the 2007 conference, we learned that many attendees raved about the range of topics covered, they loved the hands-on, practical information and techniques provided in the sessions, and they especially appreciated the inclusion of early childhood content.
But we also learned that we should put the Poster Sessions back how they were (Will Do!), that starting out Monday morning with a political message didn’t necessarily set the right mood for the conference (Got It!), and that the lunch food could have been a tad tastier (We’re On It!).
As we are preparing to attend to all these matters, we encourage you to consider responding to our Call for Submissions for the 2008 Conference. Or if there is a topic area you’d like to see covered and you know someone who could do it, send on the Call to Submissions and encourage them to submit a proposal.
