• For parents, teachers, and caregivers, the start of the school year is often exciting, but it can be difficult for kids of all ages.  Peer pressure, bullying, and social anxieties can take their toll on kids in hallways and classrooms. • Mixed Blood Theatre in Minneapolis will stage Distracted, a controversial comedy by Lisa Loomer’s that is centered around a mother who finds herself with a new “job” seeking answers for her nine-year-old son who has been diagnosed with Attention- Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD). Allergists, psychiatrists, homeopaths, teachers, neighbors, and her husband all have theories and opinions on the causes and treatments for AD/HD.
