Check out MACMH's new interactive anti-bullying web-based curriculum for K-6. In addition to addressing the difference between hurtful and fun, silly teasing, the curriculum also addresses how to distinguish between tattling and reporting, using your words when facing a bully, making safe choices, and responding to different types of bullies. GO DEFENDERS!

• For parents, teachers, and caregivers, the start of the school year is often exciting, but it can be difficult for kids of all ages.  Peer pressure, bullying, and social anxieties can take their toll on kids in hallways and classrooms. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Family Guide website has great "Back to School" resources—everything from helping with homework to dealing with the back-to-school blues is covered.  Family Guide: Back to School
