Originally published in 2006 as A Guide to Early Childhood Mental Health, this revised and updated version reflects recent advances in the field of early childhood, including the growing field of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.

The guide focuses on infants and young children from prenatal to age 6. In keeping with Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) principles, the guide also focuses on children’s parents and caregivers and the relationships between them.
